Hello, my name is Todd Reinemann and welcome to my small section of this web page. I have been employed with the Village of Kohler Police Department since June of 1998. I am assigned to general patrol duties. I can also be found from April-October on bicycle and motorcycle patrol in the Village.

I attended the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh and graduated in January of 1998. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree with majors in, Criminal Justice – Law Enforcement Emphasis, Criminal Justice – Law and Courts Emphasis, and Political Science. After graduation I attended Police Recruit Academy at Fox Valley Technical Collage in Appleton, Wisconsin.

As a police officer in the Village of Kohler, I am involved with numerous community programs. I am a certified CounterAct officer and each year work with the 5th grade students to complete the CounterAct program. While working in the Kohler school for six years as the School Resource Officer, I also taught and developed programs in the areas of Bicycle Safety, Safe Street Crossing, Safe Trick-or-Treating, Drug Prevention, Search and Seizure, Fatal Vision, and Drug Education and have assisted Officer Leonhardt in presenting the McGruff House Program to the children. Since 1999, I have also taught Junior Achievement classes and organized the annual Bicycle Safety Day. I am also an advisor to the Police Explorer Post.

During my career with the Kohler Police Department, I have received specialized training in the areas of CounterAct instructor, Bicycle Safety Instruction, DWI Detection & Standardized Field Sobriety Testing, Police Mountain Bike Patrol, Enforcing Underage Drinking Laws, Domestic Violence, Incident Command, and Reed Interview. I am also a certified First Responder and have also attended numerous conferences with an emphasis in school safety and the school resource officer position. I am also a Certified Field Training Officer.

In March of 2003, I was presented with the Department Lifesaving Award for successfully resuscitating a person who suffered cardiac arrest.

On my off time, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing softball, fishing, trap shooting, traveling, and visiting different amusement parks around the country.
