OFFICER RICK A. KLEEMAN

E-mail Officer Kleeman

Officer Rick Kleeman began his law enforcement service with the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Department as a deputy sheriff. In 1999, he was hired as an officer with the Kohler Police Department.

Rick attended Waukesha County Technical College and Lakeshore Technical College for law enforcement certification.

In 2001 he assisted our department in resurrecting a motorcycle unit, which had ended many years ago. The Kohler Police Department uses a Harley-Davidson "Electra-Glide Police Edition" as the motorcycle squad. This motorcycle is a fully equipped emergency vehicle, which allows the department to perform all law enforcement duties.

During his time off, Rick enjoys motorcycle riding with his wife Cara. They travel the country on their Harley-Davidson "Electra-Glide Ultra Classic/Peace Officer Edition" motorcycles. He has been an avid motorcycle rider since he was seven years old, no wonder he jumped at the chance to get our department a motorcycle.

Rick and his wife also enjoy spending time with their two rottweillers "Ahnyx" and "Darby". Having two rottweiller's is a handful, but they are well worth the effort. Rick's wife Cara refers to them as their kids.
