Officer Chad Gross started with the Kohler Police Department as a part-time patrol officer in 2000. On August 1, 2001 Chad was promoted to a full time position as a patrol officer for the Kohler Police Department where he now works both on evening and midnight shifts.

In May of 2000, Chad obtained an Associates Degree from the Lakeshore Technical College in the field of Police Science. After graduation, Chad attended Police Recruit Academy at Lakeshore Technical College. Prior to graduation, Chad became a Certified First Responder.

During his career with the Kohler Police Department, Chad has received training in several areas including OWI detection, Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, Domestic Violence, Drug Interdiction, as well as Glock Armorers School. Chad is the Kohler Police Department's Armorer. In his free time, Chad enjoys attending sporting events of all types. He also plays softball and basketball and enjoys trap and target shooting.
