Kohler Installs Tornado Siren

The Village of Kohler’s newest tornado warning siren was installed in the park and ride adjacent to the Deer Trace Mall. The need for the siren was determined after severe weather came through in July of 2008. The siren was purchased with half of the funding coming from a Tourism fund due to the shopping center and golf course being primarily the focus of the siren. The siren is radio controlled and is incorporated into the Sheboygan County warning system.
